For this final episode, we are at the Ermida de Nossa Senhora de Alcamé, in the Tagus floodplain. A territory shaped by agriculture, seasonal gatherings, and infrastructures built to control the Tejo River. A fragile balance between human intervention and the forces of water. This project was created in collaboration with ETC Project, who gave me the opportunity to travel through the Portuguese countryside, recording soundscapes from places undergoing profound morphological, climatic, and social transformations. Each episode uses the impulse response of one of these locations, creating a virtual acoustic space that echoes the real one.
