ORKS - B.E.A.T.S. (Bedroom Experiments Against The Scene) Ep. 4
About this show
Between the early 2000s and the Covid years, a new wave of electronic music tied to internet culture was born, grew, and gained popularity. It borrowed from the 90s club scene sounds of techno, jungle, DnB, and hip hop, twisting them into distorted, broken versions. Instead of coming from raves, it was made in bedrooms, flipping the social and party vibe into something opposite. The result was harsh noise, tricky rhythms, slow textures, and undanceable beats — music shaped by online culture, virtual scenes, and introverts. This mix gathers breakcore, noise, wrecked hardstyle, ambient, and cloud rap to explore today’s post-rave world.
