Early Italian sickness, experiments from the great pioneers of the Italian industrial underground: Maurizio Bianchi, Mauthausen Orchestra, The Sodality, Sigillum S, Ain Soph, Laxative Souls, ending with Atrax Morgue. The Italian underground scene of the 80s and 90s relied on cassette trading and ultra-limited self-releases, spreading through mail, fanzines, and word of mouth. Many works existed only as dubbed tapes, turning figures like Maurizio Bianchi and Mauthausen Orchestra into cult presences inside of a scene defined by genuine obsession.
